This was our summer 🔮mystery🔮 hot sauce. A sweet, smooth, fiery combo of ghost peppers, beets, carrots, garlic and onion. Our secret ingredient is foraged spruce tips. The beets provide an earthy sweetness, while the spruce adds a herbal lightness. A lot of our tasters guessed this was berry-based!
All the ingredients in the sauce were grown by Washington farmers and fermented for about 6 months. We wanted to capture the feeling of a PNW forest, and I think this comes close. It makes a great companion to proteins like salmon and chicken.
This sauce is a one-off experimental batch! Please note it has a less fancy label than our other sauces.
