Four vinegars to build a pantry on.

New to naturally fermented vinegar, or gifting someone who loves to cook? This is the set to start with. Four mini 4-oz bottles made from four different bases (apple, sake, beer, and wine), packed in our custom gift box.

  • Honeycrisp Apple Cider (organic): a sweeter an less harsh version of cider vinegar, made with a blend of Washington-grown apples. An everyday vinegar for drinks, veggies, and roast chicken.
  • Jyunmai Sake: clean, bright, and floral, made with sake from Seattle’s Tahoma Fuji. Makes sauces, pickles, and marinades.
  • Rye Stout: a rich, roasty malt vinegar made from Flying Lion Brewing’s Rye Stout. Try it on fish and chips, roasted potatoes, and in stews.
  • Merlot Red Wine: bright and full-bodied, made from Washington Merlot. A Good Food Awards finalist, and great for salad dressings and braises.

Together they cover most of what you’d ask a vinegar to do: dressings, pickles, sauces, braises, and a splash of acid at the end. All raw and unpasteurized, slowly fermented by hand in Seattle.
